We will leave at 6 am from the farm of Doña Rosa where we can observe Zo- cay, an endemic monkey of the Sierra de La Macarena. After breakfast, we will start a walk towards Caño Unión. During the dayney, we will be able to observe more than 200 species of birds and 5 species of monkeys. At the end of the activity, possi- bility of seeing the sloth that lives near the trail.

Come and discover the highest water- fall in Colombia (689 meters). We start from “Paso a Paso” farm on an open path in-between forests and jungles where we can observe various spe- cies of monkeys (Churuco, Tití, Zocay, etc.) and birds including the harpy ea- gle After visiting 2 viewpoints of the waterfall, we will have lunch near a spectacular natural pool and swim in the middle of nature. We will rest and enjoy the view at more than 800 meters altitude before returning to Maracaibo.

Bocatoma de Santo Domingo

We will leave from the hamlet, San- to Domingo, which was known as the crossroads of buying and selling coca during the armed conflict. We will take a 2-hours walk to visit the Santo Do- mingo waterfall. Along the way, we can enjoy a multitudes of species of mon- keys, birds, and Amazonian flora. We will have lunch and swim in a natural pool at the foot of the waterfall.

We will leave early for the Laguna Ma- droño where we will appreciate the birds that have chosen this floodplain forest of more than 300 hectares as their home. After lunch, a local guide will explain the history of the Peace Bridge, which was a strategic point during the armed conflict. In the after- noon, we will visit the rapids of guayabe- ro by boat and observe the birds, turtles and other animals along the river.
